Refinish bathtub

It’s hard to believe, but spring is right around the corner, which makes now the perfect time to start mapping out your bathroom renovation project. However, there are two important factors to keep in mind when doing so: time and money. After all, time is supposed to be money, right? In terms of bathroom remodeling, this is definitely the case.

While some jobs are simply better left to the professionals, it’s important to consider alternatives that may reduce the overall cost of the project while yielding similar — if not better — results.
An affordable option to bathtub replacement is tub refinishing, also known as tub resurfacing. This involves filling any nicks, dents, or scratches in the tub and then refreshing the surface to a like-new condition. Bathtub refinishing costs are comparable to the cost of buying a new bathtub, including the time and labor involved. In addition, it requires far less time than total bathtub replacement. The entire process can be completed in a few hours, however, the top coat may need to dry and cure overnight.
