Questions to Ask a Roofing Company Before You Hire Them for Metal Roof Repair
Is your roof leaking? Has your roof recently been damaged by a storm and now needs metal roof repair services? Or is it just time for a new roof? Whatever your reasons, there are some things you will want to do, as the attached video elaborates on, before hiring a contractor for your roofing needs.
One of the first steps is to not hire the first roofing company you talk to, instead, talk to several different contractors. Invite them to submit quotes for the job, and (as our video also reminds us) be aware of how eager they are to earn your business.
Sure, you don’t want a company to be pushy, but a company that is aloof may not be a good sign either.
Like with any contractor, also be sure to check photos of past work, read any customer reviews, and do your due diligence when it comes to checking their credentials (e.g., experience, license, etc.). Finally, it is always a good idea to have a face-to-face with your contractor. After all, your roof is no small investment and when it rains – it pours. So you want to know who is working overhead, and you want a roof you can rely on too.
